The mark will be computed as follows:

Degree mark = WM x 83/30 + IEM + DM + (L + DD) x 5/100

where:

  • WM represents the weighted average of the exam grades in the student's study plan, based on the number of credits, rounded up to three digits, as resulting from the latest approved study plan.
  • IEM represents the intermediate evaluation mark
  • DM represents the defence mark, i.e. the mark got by the student at the defence (pre-laurea)
  • L represents the total number of credits corresponding to the exams passed with honours (cum laude)
  • DD represents the number of credits in the study plan that the student has earned at foreign universities affiliated with UNICAM within the Erasmus+ student mobility program or in Double Degree agreements.

Master's Students must present the following form before the specified deadlines (see above) for each final exam session:

According to the new thesis procedures this new form (with attachments) must be electronically sent to the Coordinator of the MSc in Computer Science Prof.ssa Barbara Re (barbara.re@unicam.it).

The final grade is given on a scale of integer points between 66 and 110. There could be a special recognition “Cum Laude” over the grade of 110. The method for calculating the final grade based on the grades obtained in the MSc courses is illustrated in the following spreadsheets.

Students who intend to carry out their thesis in a company must complete the form available at the following link Modulo. and send it electronically to the Stage and Placement Office (email address: stage.ateneo@unicam.it).
